Supervision Requirements for LPC Licensure in Colorado
To qualify for licensure in Colorado, LPC candidates must complete at least 100 hours of supervision for 2000 hours of work experience. Of these supervision hours, 70 must be individual supervision and up to 30 can be group supervision.
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado since 2015 and have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field engaged in psychotherapy and case management and supervision. After over five years in private practice, I recently decided to offer clinical supervision as part of my therapy practice.
The clients I work with are primarily those navigating relationship issues (couples and individuals), anxiety, work-life balance, self-esteem, and overwhelm. I have experience working with grief, pet loss, fertility issues, ADHD, depression, and parenting. I also have several years of experience working with clients with more severe mental illness, such as schizophrenia and bipolar in a community mental health setting.
